of <h1>DGFT Updates Handbook: Deemed Export Benefits Extended to Fertilizer Plants, Changes to Appendix-14B and Appendix-20C.</h1> The Director General of Foreign Trade has amended the Handbook of Procedures (Vol.1) for the period 1997-2002 concerning deemed exports. The amendments include renumbering paragraph 10.10 to 10.10(a) and adding sub-paragraph 10.10(b), which extends deemed export benefits to fertilizer plants set up or modified during the Ninth Plan, provided supplies are made under international competitive bidding without price preference. Changes are also made to Forms I-A and I-B in Appendix-14B, specifying conditions for capital goods supply to fertilizer plants. Additionally, a section of Appendix 20C regarding application form documentation is deleted.
