of <h1>Manufacturers Exceeding Rs 90 Lakh Turnover Must File Declaration for SSI Exemption per Notification No. 36/2001-Central Excise.</h1> The circular from the Central Excise Commissioner, Delhi IV, addresses the requirement for manufacturers availing value-based exemptions under the Small Scale Industries (SSI) exemption to file a declaration as per Notification No. 36/2001-Central Excise (N.T.) dated 26.6.2001. This applies to those whose turnover exceeded Rs 90 lakhs in the previous year (2006-07). Manufacturers are urged to submit this declaration promptly to the jurisdictional Central Excise Assistant/Deputy Commissioner. Trade associations are requested to widely disseminate this information among their members and constituents.
