The Controller General of Accounts has approved a new Minor Head '505-Secondary and Higher Education Cess' with specific numeric and serial codes. Commissioners are advised to inform assessees via Trade Notices and ensure the transfer of amounts from 'RAT' to the new accounts. Additionally, the nomenclature for the existing 'Education Cess' has been updated to 'Primary Education Cess,' with codes remaining unchanged.
