of <h1>Delhi Extends VAT Appeal Fast-Track Scheme Deadline to Dec 31, 2007 for Pending Ex-Parte Cases and Missing Forms.</h1> The Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi has extended the scheme for the summary disposal of pending VAT appeal cases until December 31, 2007. Initially introduced in July 2007, the scheme allows eligible dealers to apply for expedited appeal processing if their appeal involves an ex-parte assessment order or missing statutory forms, provided they have complied with stay conditions. Applications must be submitted to the relevant Appellate Authority using the prescribed format. The authority will issue an order within seven working days, and the scheme will not accept applications after the deadline.
