of <h1>Amendment Clarifies Authority for Remanded Case Adjudication; Original Remand Authority to Decide Cases, Not Affected by Revised Limits.</h1> The circular amends a previous directive regarding cases remanded by appellate authorities for de novo adjudication. Initially, if the appellate authority specified the level of officer for adjudication, that level was to be followed, regardless of revised monetary limits. If no specific level was mentioned, the proper officer would adjudicate based on revised monetary limits. The amendment deletes the latter provision, clarifying that remanded cases should be decided by the authority that issued the remand order. This change does not affect cases already re-adjudicated. Field formations are to be informed, and receipt of the circular is to be acknowledged.
