of <h1>Increased Drawback Rates: No Supplementary Claims Needed for EDI Exports (April 1 - July 17, 2007) Per Notification 68/2007-Cus(NT.</h1> The circular addresses the increase in drawback rates for specified items, effective retrospectively from April 1, 2007, as per notification No.68/2007-Cus(NT). Exporters are exempted from filing supplementary claims for exports processed through the EDI system during April 1 to July 17, 2007. The Directorate General of Systems will provide software to automatically credit the differential drawback amounts to exporters' accounts. Manual shipping bill cases still require supplementary claims. Precautions should ensure correct crediting, and public notices should be issued for trade awareness. Any implementation issues should be reported to the Board.
