of <h1>Delhi Launches VAT Appeal Scheme for Quick Resolution of Cases from July to September 2007.</h1> The Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi introduced a scheme for the summary disposal of pending appeal cases related to Value Added Tax (VAT) from July 15, 2007, to September 30, 2007. This scheme targets cases where ex-parte assessment orders were issued or statutory forms were not provided during assessment, prompting appeals by dealers. Eligible dealers can apply using prescribed formats to the relevant Appellate Authorities, who will issue remand orders within seven working days. The scheme requires compliance with specific conditions and is detailed in Annexure-I of the circular. Applications are not accepted after the scheme period.
