It specifies that trading activities, as per Rule 76 of the SEZ rules, should be limited to importing goods for export purposes. The Approval Committee is advised to include a proviso in proposals, stipulating that trading units cannot procure goods from the Domestic Tariff Area (DTA) for trading. These instructions are applicable to both new and existing trading units, requiring amendments to their letters of approval.
