of <h1>India Updates Custom House Agent License Form u/s 146; Feedback Invited by June 30, 2007.</h1> The Government of India has revised the application form for obtaining a Custom House Agent's License under Section 146 of the Customs Act, 1962, following recommendations from the Committee on Subordinate Legislation. The revised Form 'A' incorporates these recommendations and is open for feedback from trade and industry associations, departmental officers, and other stakeholders. Comments and suggestions are requested by June 30, 2007. The form requires detailed information about the applicant, including personal and professional details, educational qualifications, language proficiency, knowledge of customs law, and any previous applications or licenses held.
