of <h1>Rupee Value for Deferred Payment Protocols with Former USSR Revised to Rs.54.9580 Effective May 3, 2007.</h1> The circular addresses the revision of the rupee value of a special currency basket related to Deferred Payment Protocols between the Government of India and the former USSR, dated April 30, 1981, and December 23, 1985. Authorised Dealer Category-I banks are informed of the updated rupee value, revised to Rs.54.9580 effective from May 3, 2007, following a previous indication of Rs.56.8292 effective from April 19, 2007. Banks are instructed to communicate this update to relevant parties. The circular is issued under the Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999, without affecting other legal permissions or approvals.
