<h1>Exim Bank Launches $48M Credit Line to Sudan for Agriculture, Education, and Infrastructure Projects; 85% Sourced from India.</h1> Exim Bank has established a USD 48 million Line of Credit (LOC) with the Government of Sudan, effective from March 29, 2007. This LOC is intended to finance projects in Sudan, including agricultural inputs, educational and scientific equipment, solar electrification, and railway needs, with at least 85% of goods and services sourced from India. The utilization period for the LOC extends up to 48 months for project exports and until February 11, 2013, for other contracts. Exporters must comply with Reserve Bank shipment declarations, and no agency commission will be paid under this LOC. Compliance with FEMA regulations is required.
