of <h1>DGFT mandates strict adherence to the official format for Non-Preferential Certificates of Origin to prevent misuse.</h1> The Directorate General of Foreign Trade has emphasized that agencies listed in Appendix 4-C of the Hand Book of Procedure Volume-I must issue Certificates of Origin (Non-Preferential) strictly following the official format specified in Annexure-II to Appendix 4-C. It has been observed that some agencies incorrectly omit the term 'Non-Preferential,' which can lead to misuse by exporters presenting these certificates as Preferential. Non-compliance with the prescribed format will result in actions, including possible delisting from Appendix 4-C. This directive is approved by the DGFT.
