Licenses are subject to a floor price: $300 per metric tonne for crude or roughly trimmed marble and rough blocks, and $450 for slabs. A ceiling of 1.30 lakh metric tonnes is set for total imports annually, with individual entitlements based on the previous year's turnover, certified by a Chartered Accountant. Applications must be submitted by October 1 each year, with licenses requiring monthly import reports and adherence to actual user conditions.
