of <h1>DGFT Halts DFCE and Target Plus Scheme Applications Pending Simplified Documentation Review Under EXIM and Foreign Trade Policies.</h1> Applications related to Appendices 17D for Duty Free Credit Entitlement (DFCE) under the EXIM Policy (2003-04) and the Target Plus Scheme under the Foreign Trade Policy (2004-05) are on hold. The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) is reviewing requests from trade and industry to simplify documentation requirements. Until new guidelines are issued, Regional Licensing Authorities (RLAs) are instructed not to process any applications for these benefits. Any applications already submitted should be kept in abeyance. This directive is issued with the approval of the DGFT.
