of <h1>Supplies to SEZs are treated as physical exports for DFRC benefits from September 1, 2004, clarifies DGFT.</h1> The circular from the Directorate General of Foreign Trade clarifies that supplies made to Special Economic Zone (SEZ) units are considered physical exports effective from September 1, 2004. Consequently, these supplies are eligible for Duty-Free Replenishment Certificate (DFRC) benefits under the Foreign Trade Policy. This clarification follows representations received on the matter and has been approved by the Director General of Foreign Trade.
