of <h1>Duty-Free Import Policy for Natural Rubber Clarified: Advance Licenses Revalidated, Excluding Fraud Cases, Effective Until Dec 31, 2003.</h1> The circular from the Directorate General of Foreign Trade clarifies the duty-free import policy for Natural Rubber. It allows fresh Advance Licenses for importing Natural Rubber under normal policy provisions. Licenses issued on or after February 20, 1999, that included Natural Rubber but were not utilized, can be revalidated until December 31, 2003, without fees. Applications filed after February 20, 1999, that excluded Natural Rubber will be reviewed, and licenses may be reissued. The circular excludes cases involving fraud or misrepresentation. This directive is effective with the approval of the Director General of Foreign Trade.
