of <h1>India Allocates 8,500 Metric Tons of Raw Sugar for Export to USA under 2002 Preferential Tariff Quota.</h1> The Directorate General of Foreign Trade has allocated 8,500 metric tons of raw sugar from the 2000-2001 free sale quota for export to the USA under the Preferential Raw Cane Sugar Tariff Rate Quota for the fiscal year 2002. The Indian Sugar Exim Corporation Ltd. is designated as the sole authorized agency for this export. Existing procedures for issuing GSP Certificates and other certification requirements for sugar exports to the USA will remain in effect. This decision is approved by the Director General of Foreign Trade.
