of <h1>DGFT Halts New Transferable Advance Licences for Pre-April 2000 Exports; Allows Prorata Enhancement for Existing Licences.</h1> The Directorate General of Foreign Trade has decided not to issue transferable advance licences for exports made prior to April 1, 2000, following the revised EXIM Policy notification on March 31, 2000. However, exporters with already-issued transferable advance licences can receive a prorata enhancement to cover exports up to March 31, 2000, even if it exceeds 100% in value and quantity. This enhancement will not apply to exports made on or after April 1, 2000. This decision has been approved by the Director General of Foreign Trade.
