of <h1>Rupee Value for Deferred Payment Protocols Revised to Rs. 56.9296, Effective May 19, 2005, for Forex Banks.</h1> The circular informs authorized banks dealing in foreign exchange about a revision in the rupee value of the special currency basket related to the Deferred Payment Protocols between the Government of India and the erstwhile USSR, dated April 30, 1981, and December 23, 1985. The revised rupee value is set at Rs. 56.9296, effective from May 19, 2005, superseding the previous value of Rs. 58.6940. Banks are instructed to inform their relevant constituents and comply with the directions under the Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999.
