of <h1>Hosiery Exporters: Port Changes in Shipping Docs Approved Fast by Customs Officials, Await AEPC Ratification Later.</h1> The Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, has addressed issues faced by hosiery exporters due to port changes in shipping documents that differ from those listed in AEPC certificates. To expedite shipments, the Assistant Commissioner or Deputy Commissioner (Exports) is authorized to approve port changes in EDI Shipping Bills and invoices without waiting for AEPC document amendments. The AEPC will ratify these changes later. Customs Houses are instructed to implement this decision through public notices and standing orders. Any implementation difficulties should be reported to the Board.
