of <h1>Export Units Can Temporarily Take Laptops, Desktops Outside Bonded Premises; Limited to Two Per Unit.</h1> The circular issued by the Department of Revenue allows Export Oriented Units (EOUs) and units in Export Processing Zones (EPZ), Electronic Hardware Technology Parks (EHTP), Software Technology Parks (STP), and Special Economic Zones (SEZ) engaged in non-software development activities to temporarily take laptop and desktop computers outside their bonded premises. This decision follows recommendations from the Ministry of Commerce and aims to facilitate communication and resource planning. The allowance is limited to two computers per unit and subject to conditions outlined in previous circulars. Any implementation issues should be reported to the Board promptly.
