The Chairman of the Central Board of Excise and Customs (CBEC) expressed concern over the lack of similar detections at other locations and emphasized the need for all customs stations to activate their anti-smuggling units, Special Intelligence Branches (SIB), and Central Intelligence Units (CIUs). A directive has been issued to all customs stations to take immediate action based on these observations to enhance fraud detection efforts.
