of <h1>Delhi Govt Clarifies April 30, 2013 Deadline for Works Contract Dealers' Composition Scheme Applications Under DVAT Act, Section 3.</h1> The Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi issued a circular clarifying the deadline for filing applications under a new Composition Scheme for works contract dealers. The scheme, effective from April 1, 2013, requires dealers previously paying tax under Section 3 of the DVAT Act, 2004, to file Form WC 01 within thirty days from the start of the financial year, i.e., by April 30, 2013. This applies to both existing works contract dealers and those under the previous composition scheme. The circular aims to resolve confusion regarding the application deadline.
