The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has lifted the ban, allowing exports, provided that contracts are registered with the DGFT beforehand. The Central Board of Excise and Customs instructs all relevant customs and excise officials to closely monitor compliance with these conditions. Field formations are to be given appropriate instructions to ensure the new regulations are followed effectively.
