of <h1>DGFT Announces DEPB Benefits for Cotton Yarn and Cotton Exports from Specific 2010-2011 Periods.</h1> The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has issued a notice regarding the filing of Duty Entitlement Passbook (DEPB) applications for exports of 'Cotton Yarn including Melange Yarn' and 'Cotton.' Exports of these items made between April 1, 2011, and August 4, 2011, for yarn, and October 1, 2010, to August 4, 2011, for cotton, are eligible for DEPB benefits. The DEPB was previously unavailable for these exports from April 21, 2010, to August 4, 2011. Exporters can apply online for DEPB benefits, with further procedures to be announced in consultation with the Department of Revenue.
