of <h1>Foreign Trade Policy Update: 'Handloom' Now Included in 'Handmade' Definition in Appendix 37D, Expanding Product Scope.</h1> The Directorate General of Foreign Trade has issued an amendment to the Handbook of Procedures Vol I (2009-14) under the Foreign Trade Policy, 2009-14. This amendment modifies Appendix 37D, Table-2, Serial Number 11, to include 'Handloom' within the definition of 'Handmade.' Previously, 'Handloom' was not encompassed within this term. This change rectifies the earlier omission and expands the scope of what is considered 'Handmade' to include Hand-Made, Hand-knotted, Hand-Tufted, Hand-Woven, and Handloom products.
