Currently, Employment Visas require foreign nationals to earn over US$ 25,000 annually, ensuring they are skilled workers. This requirement does not apply to Project Visas. The proposal suggests exempting certain foreign specialists in SEZs from this salary condition to attract more foreign direct investment (FDI). Input from industries, particularly those involved in SEZs, is requested to refine this proposal for consideration by the Ministry of Home Affairs.
