<h1>Company Name Availability Fee Rises to Rs. 500 from Nov 1, 1994 per Amendment to Rule 4A.</h1> The fee for applying for the availability of a new company's name with the Registrar of Companies has been increased from Rs. 100 to Rs. 500, effective from November 1, 1994. This change follows the amendment of sub-rule (1) of rule 4A of the Companies (Central Government's) General Rules & Forms, 1956, as per Notification No. GSR 697(E) dated September 20, 1994. The Department of Company Affairs, Ministry of Law, Justice and Company Affairs, Government of India, issued this directive, requesting that the information be communicated to all relevant parties.
