An officer of SEBI has been authorized to file complaints under sections 63 and 68, with SEBI tasked to report these to the Registrars of Companies and the Department to avoid duplication. SEBI is also instructed to forward applications for compounding offenses under section 621A to the concerned Registrars. Previous notifications have already delegated powers to SEBI to file complaints under sections 56(3), 59(1), 73(2)/(2B), 113, and 207.
