of <h1>Registrar Can Certify Photostat Copies of Company Documents to Speed Up Processing; Fee Applies Per Hundred Words.</h1> The circular addresses the certification of photostat copies of original documents filed with the Registrar of Companies. It allows the Registrar to certify these copies, in addition to typed or printed ones, to prevent delays in document processing. Companies or parties can voluntarily bring photostat copies for certification, which will be compared with the originals. A fee of Re. 1 per hundred words or part thereof is required for this service. The decision aims to streamline the process and reduce the time taken for document certification by the Registrar.
