of <h1>Revenue Audit Parties Granted Access to Seized Records for On-Site Audit Scrutiny with Assessing Officer Present.</h1> The government has decided to allow Revenue Audit Parties access to records and documents seized during searches for audit scrutiny. These records are typically extensive, so to prevent delays and potential damage or loss during transfer, the Comptroller and Auditor General's office is asked to send a representative to the location where the records are held. The scrutiny will occur in the presence of the Assessing Officer responsible for the records. All relevant officers in the region must be informed of these instructions.
