of <h1>Annual Compliance Review Mandated for Charitable Trusts' Income Investments u/s 11(2) of Income Tax Act.</h1> Instruction No. 817/CBDT, dated December 20, 1974, addresses the compliance review of charitable and religious trusts' income investments under Section 11(2) of the Income Tax Act, 1961. Following a previous instruction from September 27, 1973, the Public Accounts Committee recommended making this review an annual process. Consequently, the Board mandates that reviews for cases decided in the financial year 1973-74 be completed and reported by February 1, 1975, with subsequent years' results due by July 1 of the following financial year, using the provided proforma.
