Lab report taken on record. Held that- betal nuts fit for human consumption to all allowed clearance. Action as per law to be taken in respect of betel nuts not fit for human consumption. The Calcutta High Court directed respondent authorities to allow clearance of betel nuts fit for human consumption. Samples from one lot were found fit, while samples from another lot were not. The court ordered clearance of the fit portion within seven days.
