List the Petition on 15th January, 2025. The Supreme Court of India, presided over by Hon'ble Justice Abhay S. Oka and Hon'ble Justice Augustine George Masih, addressed a matter involving the Prevention of Money-Laundering Act, 2002 (PMLA). The Additional Solicitor General (ASG) representing the Directorate of Enforcement argued that the stringent conditions of clause (ii) of sub-Section (1) of Section 45 of the PMLA apply even to individuals who are women, under sixteen, or are sick or infirm. The ASG requested additional time to prepare submissions on this legal interpretation. The Court ordered the counter affidavit to be filed by January 10, 2025, and scheduled the next hearing for January 15, 2025.
