Failure to make claim in time as per Section 31 of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 - HELD THAT:- In view of the judgment of this Court in a case of GHANASHYAM MISHRA AND SONS PRIVATE LIMITED THROUGH THE AUTHORIZED SIGNATORY VERSUS EDELWEISS ASSET RECONSTRUCTION COMPANY LIMITED THROUGH THE DIRECTOR & ORS. [2021 (4) TMI 613 - SUPREME COURT], the demand made by the appellants herein would no longer survive for consideration. Appeal disposed off. The Supreme Court of India ruled that the appellants' claim was not made in time under Section 31 of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016. Referring to a previous case, the Court stated that the demand made by the appellants no longer stands for consideration. The appeals were disposed of based on this decision. Any pending applications were also disposed of.
