Supreme Court dismisses appeals for absent counsel, denies adjournment, and bars restoration application.
The Supreme Court dismissed the appeals due to the absence of the appellants' counsel and the unpreparedness of the replacement counsel. The Court refused ... Maintainability of appeal - Held that:- The appellants is not present in the Court today. It is stated that he is out of station. This is no ground to seek adjournment. We therefore reject the request for adjournment - Appeal dismissed for non-prosecution. The Supreme Court dismissed the appeals for non-prosecution as the appellants' counsel was not present and the replacement counsel was not prepared to argue the case. The Court rejected the request for adjournment and stated that no application for restoration would be entertained.
