of <h1>Correction made by Bombay High Court on income nature and tax chargeability in 2018 case</h1> The Bombay High Court corrected the order dated 13th March 2018 concerning the nature of income and tax chargeability in a case heard in 2018. - TMI Correction in order - On page-1 in para-2 in the last line “in the nature of income” be substituted with “similar to interest” and on page-2 at para-3 in the last sentence thereof, the words “not” be added after the words “similar circumstances been held that” and before the words “to be chargeable to tax”. Office to carry out the aforesaid corrections and the order be read accordingly. The Bombay High Court in 2018 (3) TMI 1988 heard a case with Ms. Namita Shirke representing the appellant and Mr. Atul Jasani representing the respondent. The court made corrections to the order dated 13th March, 2018 regarding the nature of income and tax chargeability.
