of <h1>SC dismisses special leave petition, condones delay, and disposes pending applications.</h1> SC dismissed the special leave petition, condoned the delay, and disposed of pending interlocutory applications. - 2019 (29) G.S.T.L. J71 (SC) GTA service - Person liable to pay the service tax - Cooperative Societies - it was held in the case that the transporters in the present case are clearly covered by the definition of “Goods Transport Agency” hence Assessees are liable to pay service tax being within the definition of “person liable to pay service tax” under Rule 2(d)(v) - HELD THAT:- SLP dismissed. The Supreme Court dismissed the special leave petition and condoned the delay. Pending interlocutory applications were disposed of as a result.
