Writ petition against order of assessment - order is appealable one - statutory remedy available under the Act - HELD THAT:- In view of the recent judgment of the Hon'ble Apex Court in the case of Authorised Officer, State Bank of Travancore versus Mathew K.C.[2018 (2) TMI 25 - SUPREME COURT OF INDIA] we are not inclined to entertain this matter. The writ petition is dismissed as above. The Allahabad High Court dismissed a writ petition seeking to quash an order dated 26.12.2017, stating that the order is appealable and the petitioner has remedies under the Act. The court referred to a recent judgment of the Supreme Court and declined to entertain the matter. The writ petition was dismissed with no costs.
