The High Court of Gauhati ruled that industries set up under the policies of 1997 and 2007 will continue to receive full exemption benefits as per the policy and notifications. The court noted that the order in question still stands as the department's challenge is pending before the Apex Court. The writ petition was disposed of accordingly.
