They were instructed to make a 50% ... Waiver of pre deposit - Held that:- matter was listed earlier also on several occasions i.e. 16/05/2012, 21/06/2012, 09/08/2012 and today. On all the occasions, none appeared on behalf of the applicants. In view of these observations, we find that the applicants have nothing to say in support of their stay applications - Conditional stay granted. The Appellate Tribunal CESTAT MUMBAI dismissed the stay applications as none appeared on behalf of the applicants despite multiple notices. The applicants were directed to make a 50% pre-deposit of the penalty confirmed against them within eight weeks, with the balance amount waived upon such deposit and recovery stayed during the appeal.
