Extension of time for submission of pre deposit – Held that:- Petitioner to deposit the amount of Rs. 5 lakhs as directed by the CESTAT order dated January 21, 2013 before August 10, 2013 - time granted by the CESTAT shall be treated as extended - the appeals filed by the petitioner shall be heard on merits – decided in favour of assessee. The Supreme Court dismissed the Special Leave Petition as not pressed. The petitioner was directed to deposit Rs. 5 lakhs by August 10, 2013, to extend the time granted by CESTAT for hearing the appeals.
