CESTAT grants stay petition for waiver of service tax pre-deposit & penalties under Finance Act

The Appellate Tribunal CESTAT, Ahmedabad granted a stay petition for waiver of pre-deposit of service tax of Rs.1,63,697/- and related interest and penalties under Section 76 and 78 of Finance Act, 1994. The Tribunal allowed the stay petitions filed by the assessee until the disposal of appeals.
