                            CESTAT Ahmedabad: Waiver of Pre-deposit for Appellants

                            The Appellate Tribunal CESTAT Ahmedabad waived the pre-deposit of the balance amount for M/s. Asiatic Gases Limited and other appellants in their stay petitions, considering their deposits to be sufficient under Section 35F.


                            The Appellate Tribunal CESTAT Ahmedabad decided the stay petitions. M/s. Aisatic Gases Limited deposited Rs. 13,43,745 out of confirmed duty of Rs. 19,68,302. Other appellants also made deposits. The Tribunal considered these deposits sufficient under Section 35F and waived the pre-deposit of the balance amount.
