Tribunal accepts early hearing requests.</h1> The SC dismissed the case but granted an extension of six weeks for depositing Rs. 4 crores. The Tribunal will entertain applications for early hearing. - ... Waiver of pre deposit - large scale evasion of central excise duty - clandestine production of excisable goods and removal of the same without payment of excise duty - Extension of time to make pre deposit. The Supreme Court dismissed the case but extended the time for depositing Rs. 4 crores by six weeks. Any application for early hearing will be considered by the Tribunal.
