The High Court of Bombay heard a petition seeking release of amount from Investors Protection Fund based on an arbitrator's award against a defaulting member. The Stock Exchange declined the release citing lack of information from the petitioner. The court rejected the petition, stating that the proper remedy is to move for execution of the award under the relevant statute.
