The High Court of Rajasthan granted exemption from payment of interest to a poor agriculturist who had deposited the principal amount of a loan in the Office of the Official Liquidator. The respondent's claim was settled on payment of Rs. 3,000, with interest waived due to fairness and difficulties faced by the respondent. The application was disposed of accordingly.
