Appeal to Supreme Court permitted within prescribed period, extension for sufficient cause allowed, orders by consent not appealable.

Previously, Section 40 permitted an appeal to the Supreme Court against Commission decisions within sixty days from communication, limited to the grounds in section 100 of the Code of Civil Procedure. The Supreme Court could extend the filing period for sufficient cause for a further period not exceeding sixty days, and no appeal lay against decisions made with the consent of the parties.
