Power to make rules: Central government may prescribe procedures, service conditions, fees and civil court powers under the Act.

The Central Government may make rules by notification to implement the Act, specifying the procedure for investigating charges of misbehaviour or incapacity against the Chairperson or other Members, prescribing salaries, allowances and service conditions of tribunal officers and employees, determining fees payable, delineating matters where the Tribunal may exercise civil court powers, and covering any other matters the Act requires or permits to be prescribed.
