of <h1>Capacity declarations for chewing tobacco and gutkha packing machines required; deadlines, certification and fresh-file rules explained</h1> Manufacturers of notified chewing tobacco packing machines must file FORM CE DEC-01 on the portal by 7 February 2026 or within seven days of commencing manufacture. The declaration must state gear box ratios, number of funnels (or cups) and main motor RPM as certified by a chartered engineer in FORM CE CCE-01. A fresh declaration is required within fifteen days of any change to production factors or on installation/addition/commencement of any machine, but no fresh filing is permitted until the jurisdictional deputy or assistant commissioner issues the required prior order.
