Chewing tobacco packing machine manufacturers must file FORM CE DEC-01 declaring certified machine capacity details before manufacture or on changes. Manufacturers must file FORM CE DEC-01 on the portal by 7 February 2026 or within seven days of commencing manufacture, declaring gear box ratios, number of funnels or cups, and main motor RPM as certified by a chartered engineer in FORM CE CCE-01; a fresh declaration is required within fifteen days of changes in production factors or machine installation/addition, but may not be filed until an order is issued by the jurisdictional Deputy Commissioner or Assistant Commissioner of Central Excise under rule 7.
